History
Our family owned and operated funeral home was founded by Frank P. Trainor in 1919. Originally established in the south side of Providence, Mr. Trainor served generations of families from Saint Michael's Church and the surrounding community until his passing in 1969.
Frank was followed by his son Thomas F. Trainor who has spent his life in funeral service and has been a licensed funeral director for fifty years. In 1978, Thomas opened a second funeral home on Warwick Avenue to accommodate families who had moved to the suburbs over the years. Thomas' son, Michael J. Trainor joined the staff in 1988. A graduate of Fairfield University and the New England Institute at Mt. Ida College, he currently operates the funeral home with his father.
