Obituary for George W. Conroy

George W. Conroy, 70, of Warwick died Wednesday at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late James F. and Anna M. (Wall) Conroy. Mr. Conroy was a Warwick resident for the past fifteen years and retired a few years ago from his position as a driver for Advanced Auto Parts. George was also an artist and medical illustrator, enjoyed working with computers and was a movie car buff.

He leaves a sister, Janet Farrell and a brother John Conroy both of Warwick. He is also survived my several grand nephews and nieces. He was the brother of the late Dr. James Conroy, Charlotte Brady, Gertrude Leeder, Ann Conro (Air Force), and Laura Jean McVeigh.

Funeral services were private. Burial was in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter, RI. www.trainorfh.com.
