Name: Dimas Oliveira Dates: Birth date: July 20, 1930 Death date: July 13, 2010 Obituary: Dimas Oliveira, 79, of Sheppard Drive died Tuesday at his home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Manuela (Pinto) Oliveira.
Born in Lisbon, Portugal, a son of the late Antonio and Susanna (Conceicao) Oliveira, he had been a Warwick resident for the past 7 years and had previously lived in Burrilville. Mr. Oliveira was a maintenance worker at Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket for 20 years before retiring in 1995.
Besides his wife, he leaves 2 sons, Alberto P. Oliveira of Pawtucket and Antonio J. Oliveira of Temecula, CA; 1 daughter, Luisa M. DeSousa of Warwick. 8 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday at 11 AM in the Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home, 982 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Calling Hours are Thursday 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to Hospice care of RI 1085 1085 North Main Street Providence, RI 02904 will be appreciated. Burial will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick.
