Ralph C. Greco, 90, of Miantonomo Drive died Monday at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center. He was the husband of Liliane A. (Hamelin) Greco
Born in Providence, a son of the late Nicholas and Fannie (Freedman) Greco, he had been a Warwick resident since 1947. Mr. Greco was a Co-Founder and CEO of Greco Brothers Inc. from 1945 to his retirement as C.E.O.
He was an Eagle Scout from Troop 32 of Providence and became scout master in 1938.
He was a member and past grand knight of St Michael’s Council K of C. He served in the army Air Force during WW II and was past president of the 319th Bombardment group. He was former chairman of the R.I. Public Buildings Authority and served on the
Board of Directors for Operation Clean Government.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter Claudette A Donnelly of Coventry, three sons Ralph M Greco of Coventry, Alan Greco of Warwick and Paul Greco of Parkland, Florida, Three brothers Joseph Greco of Florida, William Greco of San Diego, CA and Earl Greco of East Greenwich; six Grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Hilda Champlin, Cecelia, Benjamin, Henry and Harold Greco.
His funeral will be Friday at 9AM from the Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home 982
Warwick Avenue, Warwick . Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Peter Church, Fair Street, Warwick at 10 AM Calling hours Thursday 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory to Home & Hospice Care of RI 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904 will be appreciated. Burial with military honors will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
