Obituaries

Karen L. Gustafson-Feeney (Benson), 43, of South Killingly Road died Thursday at Rhode Island Hospital.  She was the beloved wife of Patrick W. Feeney.

Born in Warwick, a loving daughter of Richard W. Benson of Coventry and Barbara M. (Roberts) Ducharme of Warwick, she lived in Foster for the past 2 years previously residing in Cranston.  Mrs. Gustafson-Feeney was a special accounts administrator for Armburst International, Ltd for the past 25 years.

Besides her husband and parents, she was the stepmother of Alexander J. Lugo; sister of  Lisa M. Benson and Christine L Benson both of  Warwick; Christopher W. Benson and Caitlin J. Benson both of Coventry; stepdaughter of Judith L. (Sloane) Benson of Coventry; and also leaves her beloved dogs, Sadie and Jack. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services in the Norwood Baptist Church on Thursday at 10 AM.  Calling hours will be Wednesday from  4-8 pm at the Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home, 982 Warwick Avenue, Warwick.  In lieu of flowers donations to the Karen Gustafson-Feeney Memorial Fund to benefit the family payable to The Norwood Baptist Church 45 Budlong Road Warwick, RI 02888 will be appreciated.  Burial will be private.
