Obituaries

Costa, Pearl “Midge” 85, of Sandy Lane entered into eternal rest Wednesday at Kent Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Anthony J. Costa, Sr.

Born in Ballouville, CT, a daughter of the late Fred and Rosana (Bernard) Curtis, she had lived in Warwick for the past 19 years.  Mrs. Costa was a bus monitor for the City of Warwick for 11 years before retiring in 2009. 

She leaves 1 son, Anthony J. Costa, Jr. and his wife Carol of Warwick and 1 daughter, Barbara A. Costa with whom she made her home along with her friend Dottie Perry; 3 grandchildren, Cheryl, Anthony, and Richard Costa all of Warwick. 5 great grandchildren.  She was the sister of the late Dorothy Roy and great grandmother of the late Nicolas Gillissie.

Her funeral will be Monday at 9 AM from the Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home, 982 Warwick Avenue, Warwick.  Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Kevin Church, Sandy Lane, Warwick at 10 AM.  Calling Hours Sunday 4-8 PM.  Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
